Emil Zegad%C5%82owicz

Emil Zegadowicz was a Polish poet, prose writer, novelist, playwright, translator, expert of art cooriginator of Polish expressionism, member of expressionists group Zdrj, cofounder of group Czartak.

Zegadowicz was born onJuly 1888 in Bielsko, now part of BielskoBiaa. From 1906 to 1911 he studied Polish philology, German philology and history of art at Jagiellonian University in Krakw, then he continued his studies in Vienna and Dresden. Although born in Silesia, he wasnt much connected with this region and lived in Gorze Grny near Wadowice and Pozna.
